Ron Reagan

Despite the tone of the last week and a half of posts, I tend to keep my politics to myself.  To each his own, and all.

There are times however — when the son of the most beloved Republican President of the last 50 years delivers the most scathing assessment of the current Republican administration, for instance — that see my isolationist tendencies pushed aside.

Reagan takes no fear in brutal honesty.  He tears one way and sears the other.  He shocks.

Awesome article!  It’s so reassuring to read that someone who one assumes has been a fairly stalwart Republican is willing to stand up a say such forthright things about the Bush Administration.

Yeah, I read that a couple weeks ago.  Isn’t it an awesome article?  I have a lot of respect for him.  He seems to be someone who really thinks, and has a lot of integrity.  Also he has a very nice radio voice.  I heard him on NPR the other day.

Also, did you happen to pick that up on truthout?  If you don’t know about truthout.org, you should check it out.  But watch out for the articles on Hugo Chavez.  I have a Venezuelan friend who HATES Chavez and says those articles are Communist propoganda.  Anyway, it’s a good resource for news that’s not as often covered by US media.
